Catena Chardonnay 2020/21, Mendoza

Catena is one of the biggest names in Mendoza. Nicolás Catena is a former Decanter Man of the Year. And the winery, known as Catena Zapata, is largely responsible for putting Argentinian wine on the world map. It’s now in the expert hands of his daughter, Laura. And she’s living up to the family’s widespread acclaim. Her talent shows in this ripe Chardonnay. It’s rich and tropical, with flavours of apple, pear, butter and sweet spices.
