Château De Rouanne Vinsobres 2019

You could say that Louis Barruol was destined to become a winemaker. When his father became too ill to run the family winery, he took the reins of the famous Chateau Sainte Cosme at the age of 23. He transformed it into one of the most successful wineries in the region. But that seemingly wasn’t enough, as he recently took over the historic Château de Rouanne in the Vinsobres region. He sees Vinsobres as the epitome of Rhône terroir, and you can taste it in this old-vine blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Try its flavours of raspberry, violet and black pepper with barbecued beef.
