Claret has been a British synonym for red Bordeaux for centuries. Such a traditional wine required a prestigious winemaker with a wealth of regional knowledge. One person immediately sprang into our buyers’ minds: Edwige Lurton Michon. Edwige was raised in Margaux vineyards and was influenced by her family’s viticultural and artistic heritage. She is now head winemaker at the renowned Château Livran, and her passion and skill certainly show in this bottle. It has notes of ripe black fruits, cedar and spice. Structured yet soft tannins make it a fantastic pairing for your Sunday roast.
