This release is part of Peter Lehmann’s Masters range, and each wine is named after a person or event that has played a role in the Peter Lehmann story. This bottle is a tribute to ‘Eight Songs for a Mad King’ – one of Lehmann’s favourite musical ensembles. The aim was to replicate the soft melodies in fine wine form. The result? An opulent, complex Shiraz that’s been praised by numerous critics. The 2016 vintage was given a 93 point score by Australia’s leading wine critic, James Halliday.
